Hey folks, here's something you don't see everyday. A Tamiya sherman with an M50/60 upper. These tanks are the ultimate version of the Sherman and we're modified by the Chileans in the 90s with a 60mm hyper velocity gun from Israel and continental diesel engines. This model is very much a project, the turret is untested but has elevation by the looks of it. Chassis is a Tamiya sherman, the later version with 2 type one gearboxes, but has metal tracks. Upper depicts a composite hull (cast front welded rear) and has printed parts to make it upto the Chilean version. It is definitely a project and needs finessing/detailing, but it's a good start for a Sherman you really dont see very often! Collection from Salford or ship world wide.
