The CBLS 200 braces are based on the UK MACE units, which attach to the shoulder pylon(s) - there should be a gap between the CBLS body and the pylon. The 1/48 does not require holes in the the top of the braces, but they are included as a paper clip can be used to hold the body for spraying/painting (as with 1/32 and 1/72).
