A beautifully crafted wooden tray puzzle from George Luck Ltd, known for unusual, sometimes layered puzzles with quirky design. This farm yard scene features ducks, geese and chickens with the feet and bills often created by voids, where no piece sits. The grain the chicken pecks at is formed of holes in the board and a sneaky fox peers around the corner. It measures approximately 25 x 20 cm and comes with a slight warp to the base (it doesn’t lay entirely flat) but this does not impact its functionality or design at all. A really nice collectable jigsaw. Minor marks and wear from previous play.
