This is a brand new set, however the box has come open during storage after being at the bottom of a large stack of sets, which has caused damage to the box. Despite the outer box condition, everything inside remains in perfect shape and all contents are still sealed and untouched. This set would be ideal for someone looking to build and enjoy it, rather than a collector searching for a mint condition box.
