Stickers may not have been applied perfectly straight and may be lifting or sliding slightly due to age. Bricks may have small scratches from storage. Boxes with thumb tabs have either been resealed with clear tape across the folded flap on the inside of the box, or, where this would not hold securely (particularly on larger boxes) double-sided tape has been used along the original glue line.
