Steiff Pelican Piccy vintage 1959 – 1961 rare standing white mohair pelican water bird with Steiff button, label + chest tag, Steiff Pelican Piccy, produced only from 1959 to 1961. It's in good condition for It's age and has all its original Steiff identification marks ; Steiff button & yellow label, giving the number 1325,00 & chest tag still in place. Steiff pelican is made of off white mohair, firmly stuffed & has felt feet & an open felt beak with all his plastic teeth left inside. He has glass eyes. Steiff pelican measures 17 cm / 6 ¾ inches standing – he can stand on his own. Given the short production run, they won't be many left, making it highly collectable.
